The idiophone family of musical instruments includes the marimba "calypso," which has two identical mirrored scales.
It is made out of a number of metal tubes that provide a gentle sound full of harmonic tones. The marimba "calypso" can be played by two people at once. Both the handpan "koala" and the forest-themed tubular bells go well with the instrument. The playing style is really straightforward and natural. Simply use the mallets to strike the center portions of the tubes in any rhythm.
The instrument can be fixed to the ground with two anchoring systems:
Concrete anchor – ensures a professional and stable installation of the instruments on soft surfaces (e.g. lawn, sand)
Flat anchor – the best solution to install instruments on hard surfaces (e.g. concrete)
